Wood Planks Over Popcorn Ceiling






Removing a popcorn ceiling is a messy, time-consuming job. fortunately, in most cases, it’s not necessary because you can easily cover up that unsightly texture with ceiling panels or planks. most options easily install directly over your existing popcorn ceiling using the easy up track and clip installation system. in as little as a weekend, you can hide that ugly ceiling and start enjoying. I wasn't in love with my popcorn ceiling. i personally think popcorn is best served in movie theatres. so when i was recently challenged to decorate my bathroom, i decided the popcorn would not do. installing a few planks was all this took. the end result is so stunning, i have a hard time believing. The next step is to replicate the blue-painted wood ceiling in the inspiration photo up above, so this week, kev and i are going to head back over there and install 165 square feet of sea salt-painted wood planks on the center part of the ceiling. it’s still covered in popcorn, but since we’re doing the planks, we didn’t see any point in.
